Congratulations to you both! I love engagement stories that don’t involve a lot of glitz and fuss and show – just those honest moments – especially this kind where he planned it for another time and then thought “nah, now is good” and just DID IT.

AW! Love how he proposed! Your ring is lovely. Congrats. Most of the best moments in my life have involved music, so I totally understand, girl! I would say his proposal would beat Elton any day of the week… even though he does put on a great show. ;)
2.5 years sounds like a long time, but you know how when we look back and think damn that went by fast!? :D
A September beach wedding sounds perfect… but I am biased because if I ever get married I want a beach wedding, too. So romantic.
