I know I’ve been all over the place as far as posting here goes.  I just feel like the only thing on my mind is getting through the day and getting one day closer to having him home.  So, I think as a result of that… a lot of what this blog is right now is centered around that and I sort of hate it.

So, to try and get away from that, i’m going to direct you somewhere else for a little bit.  I have a formspring now.  Ask away.  Pending it’s nothing too crazy, I pretty much promise i’ll answer.

Do you have a formspring?  What are your thoughts on it?

I’m such a bad little techie. Seriously, I think I’m the last person to join *everything* and then even when I DO join, I have no clue what I’m doing. Which is to say that no, I’ve never used formspring and I don’t really get it but… yay you! Haha :)

I like formspring. I haven’t had as many questions as I had hoped, but I do enjoy it.
I think it’s fun and can provide some good writing prompts.

I really want a formspring but I’m a little worried about what people would ask! lol Or that they wouldn’t have anything to ask at all. Silly, I know, we’ll see- I have my user name reserved so maybe I’ll give it a try. Let me know what you think of it!

I just recently joined, and I sort of like it because it’s filling my old survey days void. Remember on MySpace waaaaaay back in the day, when the thing to do was repost surveys as bulletins?

I joined yesterday, and mostly I like it. I did have one person ask me something that rubbed me the wrong way a little bit…but mostly it has been a lot of fun!

I’ve yet to use formspring or ask a question on it, but I’m kind of curious about it now. Especially since it seems like all my friends are jumping on the bandwagon for it.

What are your thoughts on it?

Formspring is fun so far. I love getting questions but have not received very many yet. Your answers are really interesting. I’ve enjoyed reading them.

Obviously, I cannot begin to imagine what it’s like having the person you love be deployed and just waiting for that to be over.

I do have experience getting caught up in waiting though, where you feel as if your life is on hold and you can’t really DO anything big and you can’t really plan until the thing you’re waiting for happens. I don’t know if that makes any sense. When I was waiting, everyone kept telling me “it goes fast” and I wanted to kill them because it certainly didn’t feel like it was going fast, and the only thing I could do was put my head down and get through one day at a time.

And of course, now it retrospect, it seems as if it went by fast, but I know the feeling of getting home at the end of the day and just feeling drained with the effort it takes to make it through one more day of waiting.
